It's hard to foresee the future and we understand things come up. We are happy to reschedule with 48 hours advance notice free of chanrge. Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. A cancellation fee equal to 50% of your total cost will be charged on cancellations if the flight is canceled less than 48 hours in advance. Same day cancellation will be charged full rate.
No. We can never predict weather or other such things that come up. Our customer service team will contact you to confirm date & time 24 hours before flight.
All flights are at the discretion of the flight tower & the pilot. Please refer to our cancellation policy.
The helicopter has a max weight of 530 pounds, therefore it is important that we know your weight and the total weight of all passengers.
Temecula Wine Country, we require a 7-day cancellation notice for a full refund, a 4-day cancellation notice for a 50% refund, and if cancelled within 4 days, no refund will be issued.
For all other helicopter tours, we require a 3 day cancellation notice by either phone or email for a full refund. Cancellations within 3 days will be refunded 50% of the total booking cost. A no-call and/or no-show will not be issued a refund.
For guest booking directly with Waverider Helicopter Tours, it is our policy to require a valid credit card to book a reservation. This card will be charged at the time of checkout.

Routes or flight times may vary due to weather conditions. Waverider Helicopter Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unsafe weather. If cancellation due to weather occurs prior to the flight, any money collected will be refunded. If the flight has begun and must be canceled due to weather within 10 minutes of takeoff, the tour price will be refunded in full. If the flight has exceeded 10 minutes, the passengers will be refunded for the percentage of the flight that did not take place, i.e. if the flight lasted for 30 minutes and was scheduled to take an hour, the passengers will be refunded half of the amount paid. Please contact us with any questions.
Passengers are welcome to bring their personal belongings on the aircraft as long as they are light weight and able to be stored under the seat. All item carried on are at the pilot discretion. Cameras, video cameras, and all other photography equipment must be secured to the passenger by wrist strap or neck strap. Cell phones are permitted for picture-taking.
Earrings should be taken off for passenger comfort while wearing headsets.
All passengers must check in with a valid photo ID no less than 30 minutes prior to flight time. Any passengers not checked in by 30 minutes prior to flight time will be considered a cancellation and charged for the full tour amount , without refund.
For the comfort and safety of all passengers, we reserve the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Tours may include some elements of risk; we assume no liability for injuries or illness. we will add a $300 clean up fee for air sickness. Please make sure to ask for an air sick bag to avoid this charge.
